Gilded Age provides the services of both stripping and repairing. We strip stained or painted furniture as well as doors, trim, etc. Repair work may include re-gluing loose joints, duplicating parts and veneering.
For the finishes, we use multiple coats of lacquer. It gives a very durable and long lasting sheen.
We also paint furniture.
We will do as much or as little work as you desire. Some of our customers prefer to have us strip and clean the wood only while they do the finishing work. Other customers request that we do the complete job.
Each job will be bid by a set price guide and no work will be performed until it is explained and agreed upon by the customer. Most jobs have a 2 to 4 week turnaround. We stand behind all of our work.
